Argentina’s flag carrier, Aerolíneas Argentinas, announced a number of operational upgrades for the peak summer season, including a 10% increase of seating capacity to top destinations, as well as replacing Boeing 737-700 aircrafts with larger Boeing 737-800s.

With the reopening of Mendoza’s El Plumerillo airport in December, direct flights to Mar del Plata and Florianopolis will be added. Mar del Plata will serve 25 weekly flights to Buenos Aires, direct flights to Mendoza, as well as three nonstop weekly flights to Rosario and five daily services to Córdoba and Tucumán. Source
