On July 02, 2017, Air Astana has launched direct flights from Kazakhstan’s capital Astana to India’s capital New Delhi. This service will be operated three times a week using Airbus A320 and Embraer 190 aircraft. Air Astana continues to operate daily flights between Almaty and New Delhi, a route that is in service since September 04, 2004.
Kazakhstan’s award-winning carrier offers travelers from Delhi a wide range of convenient flight connections in Astana, with services to international connections, such as Moscow, St. Petersburg, Istanbul, Kiev, Baku, and Tbilisi, as well as many cities across Kazakhstan. All international passengers traveling via Astana between June 01 and September 10, 2017, including those using the new service to and from New Delhi, are entitled to free admission tickets for EXPO 2017 Astana – Future Energy.
On Mondays and Thursdays, the flight (KC 241) departs Astana at 07:20, arriving in New Delhi at 10:55, with the return flight (KC 242) departing New Delhi at 12:00, and arriving in Astana at 17:00 local time. On Sundays, flight (KC 249) departs Astana at 20:35, arriving in New Delhi at 00:10(+1), with the return flight (KC 250) departing New Delhi at 01:10, and arriving in Astana at 06:10 local time.
