Kazakhstan’s flag carrier Air Astana once again retained its 4-star Skytrax ranking, and named ‘Best Airline in Central Asia and India’ at the 2018 ‘World Airline Awards’. Air Astana has won this prestigious Skytrax award for the past seven consecutive years.
Skytrax reported that over 20 million passengers from across the globe submitted their votes, based on satisfaction of the product and staff service standards that leisure airlines deliver to customers on board and at the airport.
“We are absolutely delighted and honored about the recognition,” said Peter Foster, Air Astana President and CEO. “This award is particularly important and valuable, as it has been won based on the personal choice of our customers. I would like to express my sincere gratitude, and very much look forward to welcoming them onboard again soon. The award is also an affirmation of the hard work of our dedicated Air Astana team members, who all go the extra mile every day to provide outstanding service to our passengers. We will continue our efforts, thriving for even higher standards.”
