Just in time for the summer season, Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, has refreshed it’s on board ‘Café Flybe’ menu to include a variety of healthy snacks, as well as new additions to its Connoisseurs’ Gin Bar.
The new Breakfast Box features a croissant filled with cocoa cream, a bag of mixed dried fruit, a multi-grain cereal bar, and Tic Tacs. Another highlight of the new on board menu is a range of gluten-free options, such as satay rice noodles (at only 229 calories per pot).
Passengers looking for a lighter bite can now purchase products from Graze, which include a Veggie Protein Power pack and a vegan friendly Lively Lemon Flapjack. Also new for 2018 is Joe & Sephs Coconut and Chia Popcorn, a blend of caramel with dried coconut and crunchy chia seeds. British biscuit classics, such McVitie’s Shortbread and Milk Chocolate Digestives are also available on the ‘Café Flybe’ menu. The Connoisseurs’ Gin Bar features a selection of regional gins, including Brecon from Penderyn in Wales, Tarquin’s from Cornwall and Whitley Neill Rhubarb & Ginger gin.
“We want to provide our passengers with the best possible choice when they travel with us,” commented Flybe’s Chief Commercial Officer, Roy Kinnear. “The new healthy additions to Café Flybe mean that whether you are flying to an early morning meeting or heading home late in the evening, there is always an enticing option to choose from.”
