Precision Air, Tanzania’s largest regional airline, launched three weekly flights to the exotic island of Pemba. Flights are operated every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday departing from Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam using an ATR72-500 aircraft. Why visit Pemba:
• Pemba is home to several dive sites, with steep drop-offs, untouched coral and very abun-dant marine life; famous for its rich fishing grounds. Between the island and the mainland there is the deep 50 kilometer wide Pemba channel, which is one of the most profitable fish-ing grounds for game fishing on the Swahili Coast.
• Pemba is also home of the only under water hotel room (Kwanini Manta Resort) in the whole of Africa.
Another exciting news is that Precision Air is resuming its operations to HAHAYA- Comoros beginning 16th August 2016 due to a high demand for transport between Dar Es Salaam-Hahaya. Flights will be operated three times a week; every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. (Read more)
