This press release congratulates Tara Easter, an external science researcher whom has worked with an advisor to study the effects of human activities and noise on leopard space use and movement in the Gorongosa National Park.  Tara Easter was recently awarded the U.S National Science Foundation’s prestigious Graduate Research Fellowship.

Gorongosa National Park is a preserved area in the Great Rift Valley of central Mozambique.  It is considered to be a paradise of wildlife, in which it is a popular safari destination.
