Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, has again been recognized as the most punctual UK-based airline in the latest report on ‘Best and Worst Airlines’ issued by leading consumer watchdog, issued earlier this month.
The carrier once again tops for on-time performance all other UK-based airlines, including British Airways, Easyjet, Jet2 and Thomas Cook. The study was based on an analysis of monthly punctuality statistics, gathered by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on the percentage of flights that arrived in to the UK within 15 minutes of due time (Short Haul Airlines).
Flybe operates more domestic flights than any other airline with over 500 flights a day from 33 UK and 48 European airports, and is the largest scheduled airline measured by air traffic movements at nine UK airports.
“Flybe remains heavily focused on maintaining its above average track record for punctuality, and there is a company-wide commitment to improve even further this very important element of our passengers’ experience. We are naturally delighted to have been again recognized as the most punctual UK-based airline. Arriving on time is an important consideration for passengers, and it is amongst the key performance areas scrutinized and monitored closely by all airlines,” commented Luke Farajallah, Flybe’s Chief Operating Officer.
