Launched in 2003, Kam Air is a privately-owned airline in Afghanistan. It boasts one of the country’s fastest-growing networks and services multiple cities across Afghanistan from its base in Kabul. Kam Air also provides good connectivity into neighbouring countries and more international routes are in the pipeline, including Najaf, Shanghai, Dubai and Madina.
Existing international routes include Almaty, Tashkent, Dushanbe, Islamabad, Delhi, Shariah, Kuwait, Jedah, Ankara and Istanbul. The carrier also has ambitions to add scheduled services to the UK, US, China, Azerbaijan, Germany and Iraq.
Points on the airline’s domestic network include Bamyan, Khost, Tarin Kowt, Kandahar, Bost, Farah, Zaranj, Herat, Chaghcaran, Maymana, Mazar and Fayzabad.
Kam Air also has a code share agreement with Air Arabia and interline partners include Hahn Air, Saudi Arabian Airlines, and APG Airlines.
The airline boasts a 95% on time departure record and a charter service is available by arrangement. Kam Air also has a cargo division.
