LAM MOZAMBIQUE
LAM–Mozambique Airlines, founded on May 14, 1980, is the flag carrier of Mozambique. LAM was transformed into a Limited Company, under the name of LAM – Linhas Aéreas de Moçambique by December 23, 1998, and it benefits from administrative and financial autonomy.
The flag carrier of Mozambique, the airline’s base is Maputo Airport (MPM), and the airline operates more than 40 flights a day. The aircraft types used are Boeing 737, Bombardier Q400., Bombardier CRJ 900, and Embraer 145 operated by subsidiary MEX – Mozambique Express. LAM intends to be equipped with a fleet of 22 aircraft by 2027.
LAM Mozambique has a codeshare partnership with South African carrier CemAir, covering the latter’s domestic routes. LAM has plans to move ahead with connections to Brazil, China, and India in 2024. Lam offers the loyalty program, Earn Miles, as a reward for the repeated patronage of passengers, where they can earn points equal to the distance in miles between the airport of origin and destination, plus the bonus of the tariff applied for the respective journey using Flamingo Classic, Flamingo Plus, or Flamingo Corporate Card. LAM Mozambique is a member of IATA.

It also serves 12 domestic destinations which include Johannesburg, Dar es Salaam, Harare, Lusaka, and Cape Town regionally.
