SHANDONG AIRLINES
Shandong Airlines is a Chinese airline based in Jinan, the capital of Shandong Province. Founded in 1994, the airline operates an array of both domestic and international routes, with a strong focus on serving cities within China. It is partially owned by Air China and is an affiliate member of the Star Alliance, one of the world’s largest airline alliances. Operating primarily out of Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport, Shandong Airlines has expanded its network to include key cities in China as well as select international destinations in Asia.
The airline has optimized its fleet structure, with 135 Boeing 737 aircraft to its credit. Shandong Airlines formed an extensive airline network layout, with Shandong, Xiamen, and Chongqing serving as the primary connecting points, by establishing branches and air bases in locations such as Jinan, Qingdao, Yantai, Xiamen, Chongqig, Beijing, Urumchi, and Guiyang.
Shandong Airlines has partnered with other airlines which includes Mandarin Airlines, Air India, Eva Air, Uni Airways, Air China, China Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Delta Airlines, Shanghai Airlines, Hahn Air, Japan Airlines, JSC Air Astana, Korean Air, Royal Dutch Airlines, Kenya Airways, Xiamen Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, Kenya Airways, Air Macau, Nippon Airways, Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines, Thai Airways International, Turkish Airlines, Asiana Airlines, Shenzhen Airlines, and Lucky Air.
The airline is known for safety standards and has maintained a safe flight record for 27 consecutive years, for which it has received four of the top safety awards from the Civil Aviation Administration of China – the Golden Goose Cup and Golden Eagle Cup – as well as the Four-Star Award for Air Safety from the CAAC.

Shandong Airlines operates a comprehensive network encompassing more than 290 domestic, international, and regional routes. Every week, the airline serves several flights to over 80 major and medium-sized cities. Additionally, it has established routes to neighboring countries such as South Korea, Japan, Thailand, India, and Cambodia as well as to regions including Taiwan and Hong Kong.
