Uganda Airlines

Uganda Airlines is the national flag carrier of Uganda, headquartered in Entebbe. Originally founded in 1976, the airline ceased operations in 2001, but it was later revived and relaunched in 2019. Uganda Airlines is jointly owned by two Ugandan Cabinet Ministries – the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, and the Ministry of Works and Transport. Operating from its main hub at Entebbe International Airport, Uganda Airlines serves several regional destinations across East Africa and is gradually expanding its network to other parts of the continent and beyond.
The airline’s fleet consists of Airbus A330-800, Bombardier CRJ900ER, Airbus 320-200ceo, Airbus 320neo, Boeing B787, Boeing B737-800, and Boeing B777F. The airline is a member of the African Airlines Association (AFRAA) and IATA.

Uganda Airlines offers more connectivity through its codeshare arrangements. Travelers can access more passenger lounges at airports around the world through the codesharing arrangement. The airline has an interline agreement with Emirates Airlines.
