Groupe Transair, often referred to simply as Transair, was established in 2009. The airline is based at Blaise Diagne International Airport (DSS) Dakar. It is a privately owned airline that has emerged as a significant force in the regional aviation market of West Africa. The airline operates 48 flights per week, including 40 flights within Senegal. With an ability to cater to multicultural markets and demographics, the airline has remained the leader in air transport in Senegal and the region.
The airline’s fleet is optimized for regional operations, consisting of Beechcraft 1900C, Embraer EMB-120, and Embraer ERJ-145. These aircraft ensure reliable service across various destinations in West Africa.
Groupe Transair offers a Kolare Transair Loyalty program to reward its regular passengers. Members earn points with each flight, which can be redeemed for exclusive offers and discounts. With the Kolare Card, the customer automatically benefits from privileged customer status. The members can progress to higher card levels as they use the card more, which increases the levels of privileges to benefit from free flights with Transair.
