MIAT Mongolian Airlines is the national flag carrier of Mongolia, headquartered in Ulaanbaatar. Established in 1956, MIAT stands for “Mongolian Irgenii Agaariin Teewer” or Монголын Иргэний Агаарын Тээвэр which translates to Mongolian Civil Air Transport.
