Balaji Ramgopal is a seasoned travel and tourism professional with four decades of experience across Oman and the UAE. He began his career in Oman as Head of Tours, creating memorable experiences for visitors, before moving to the UAE to manage tour operations for diverse international markets, including South America and Australasia.
In Dubai, Balaji led MICE operations for corporate clients and managed both inbound and outbound tours, including cruise packages. At Al Rostamani Travels and Holidays, he collaborated with global partners such as Globus, Rail Europe, Thomas Cook, SriLankan Holidays, and Disneyland Paris to design tailored travel packages.
He then advanced to senior managerial roles at Al Arif Sons Travel, specializing in services for high-net-worth clients, liaising with luxury hotels, car hire services, and government departments. Balaji later became General Manager at a similar travel services provider in Oman, meeting the sophisticated needs of elite travelers. Returning to Al Arif Sons Travel, he now serves as Chief Commercial Officer, overseeing key markets including India, Oman, and the UAE. His career reflects a unique blend of operational expertise, strategic leadership, and a commitment to delivering exceptional travel experiences.
